Leslie Charteris She Was a Lady Saint early edition circa 1938 is for sale. She Was a Lady is an early Saint book featuring the hero Simon Templar. She Was a Lady was published by Hodder and Stoughton and comes complete with the rare original binding and dust jacket.


The She Was a Lady dust jacket is in Poor condition with tears, losses, marks, creases, partial detachment of one panel, etc.  But, it is still nice to have with this book.


The She Was a Lady original red binding with a blind stamped decoration to the front board, plain back board and with black lettering to the spine. The binding is in Good condition with slight nicks to the top and bottom of the spine and to the top and bottom edge of the back board, and with slight corner knocks.


She Was a Lady has 314 numbered pages which are in Good condition being age toned, with a Watch For the Sign of The Saint advertisement to the end of the book.
